2009 Atlantic Grand Prix
Cross Country series
is on hold until farther notice.

I know this is going to be a let down to many who count on the AGP events for their racing and recreational trail riding both in the region as well as here in New Jersey, but with everything AGP has going on right now, we’re just going to have to put the AGP series on hold until farther notice.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but there are a lot of things going on right now and with land permission, permits, community approvals and all the other stuff it takes to put on the events we just don’t have the time and resource to do it right, especially with the OHV park project which we've been working on for close to 2 years now.

As I said this wasn’t an easy decision, because many of you who have helped the AGP series grow and who are our friends are now going to have to find other safe and legal venues to recreate at in a region where there are few..

Not just that, but by putting the AGP series on hold many of those in the hosting communities who count on the Atlantic Grand Prix series of events for their fund raising as well as local businesses who benefit from the AGP events are also going to be impacted.

On top of that the Atlantic Grand Prix series has been instrumental at helping local communities get a lot of their unlawful off-highway issues under control by providing local residents safe and environmentally regulated venues.

Currently AGPs focus is on the OHV park project, and hopefully we’ll be able to continue to build on what AGP started four years ago by providing the community and the riders a safe, environmentally friendly OHV recreation that’s going to make everyone's within the communities life much better.
