WOW...What a race and was that a nice course or what? I still can’t wipe the smile off my face. Considering all the changes we made in the off season with classes and moving everything in to one day, I thought things ran pretty smooth and you could not have asked for better day.
So the first order of business is that I’d like to thank the Parkertown and Eagleswood Fire Companies as well as the Stafford and Great Bay Rescue Squads that work this event as a fund raiser for their organizations. I’d also like to thank the township of Little Egg Harbor and Eagleswood for graciously allowing us the honor of having these events in their township.
Without the support of the residents from both of these communities this event would not of happened. Secondly I’d also like to thank everyone that came out and helped put on this event, again without your support it would have been just another off-road race, but because of your hard work this became a really great event.
On top of that of that I’d like to thank Durno and his wife Niki for their help and support and last but not least my wife for supporting me through all of this..
Now for the riders...Thanks for coming out and supporting the Atlantic Grand Prix Series. Last year we raised over $45,000 for non-profits like the fire companies, youth sports programs and even a horse rehabilitation farm for race horses. In 2007 we're looking to double that number and from the way things started this past Sunday I believe we are on our way of doing just that.
We’d also like to thank all our friends on the various web Bulletin Boards that support the Atlantic Grand Prix Series and they include Quadzone.com, ATVriders.com, Thumpertalk.com, TheQuadBuilder.com, HareScramblesRacing.com, Woodsracer.com and BannedatATVnews.com, if you have a chance stop in and register at these sites and post something positve about the AGP series.
The Little Egg Harbor event was just the tip of the ice burg of what to expect from the Atlantic Grand Prix Series. All of our events and courses are will all be of the same very high quality that you rode in LEH, but all will be different, safe and fun.
The photographer taken pictures was David Hall and he has images for sale on at: Little Egg Harbor Grand Prix Photos
